(KNSI) – Two Stearns County Dairy Princesses had their likeness carved in butter at the Minnesota State Fair this week.

Grace Woitalla (Left) from Holdingford and Selena Corona from St. Joseph were among the finalists for the prestigious title of Princess Kay of the Milky Way. The winner is crowned the night before the gates to The Great Minnesota Get-Together open. All ten finalists get the honor.

Despite being runners-up, Woitalla and Corona still had their images immortalized in the frozen butter. Princess Kay and the dairy princesses represent Minnesota’s dairy industry at fairs, community events and parades.

Corona says she will likely use her butterhead for a baked potato and corn feed.
