(KNSI) – Minnesotans are assessing the damage after another round of severe storms swept through Minnesota and Wisconsin on Thursday.

A tornado reportedly touched down east of Isanti on Thursday evening, with reports of downed trees, powerlines, and other damage. It’s one of three that the National Weather Service believes developed out of the storm, with the other two in Western Wisconsin. An Isanti County home sustained significant damage when multiple trees crashed through the roof, likely due to a tornado. The intense weather caused a waterspout tornado over Bde Maka Ska. Becker reported 3/4 inch hail.

The storms led to numerous tornado warnings and power outages, mainly north of the Twin Cities and to the east. The disruption caused people at the Minnesota State Fair to take cover and delayed the start of the Gophers football season opener.

The nasty weather left around 20,000 Minnesotans in the dark. More than 100,000 electric outages were reported following a severe storm on Monday.
