(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says two area women were hurt when they were involved in a single-vehicle accident Thursday evening.
They were driving on Sycamore Road east of Harding at about 6:20 when they lost control on a curve, left the pavement, and struck a tree. The driver was 20-year-old Aunika Weckman of Milaca. Her passenger was 19-year-old Brianna Heemstra of Foley. Both were taken to Onamia Hospital.
The sheriff’s office says alcohol was likely a factor in the crash.
