(KNSI) – Nearly two days after a series of storms swept through the region, cleanup is still underway at a popular Stearns County park.

Officials say Warner Lake County Park has a lot of storm damage left. The Stearns County Parks Department indicated it will be a few weeks before all the trails are cleared. Maintenance crews have cleaned up most of the larger trees around the open-air shelter and will continue to clean up around the Nature Center building this week.

Both the West and East Campgrounds are closed. Visitors should be aware of fallen trees and branches when walking on the trails and use caution around cleanup crews and equipment.
