(KNSI) – CentraCare is beginning expansions of two of its campuses, totaling over 275,000 square feet.

CentraCare Sauk Crossing is home to the eye clinic. The healthcare provider will build a three-story addition to move the CentraCare-Sartell Clinic and its lab and imaging services out of the former St. Cloud Medical Group building.

The 61,230-square-foot wing is expected to cost $34.5 million. CentraCare plans to install a new heating and cooling system and is focusing on efficient patient flow. CentraCare Sauk Crossing is located at 2000 23rd Street South in Sartell between Highway 15 and Connecticut Avenue. Work will begin in September and finish in fall 2025.

The approximately 215,000-square-foot expansion at CentraCare Plaza in St. Cloud is already in Phase One. A majority of that project ramps up next spring when crews start building an ambulatory surgery center and add on to the physical, occupational, and speech therapy building. The price tag is over $194 million. The project will be completed in the first half of 2026.

The story has been updated to include new information from CentraCare on the size of the plaza expansion.
