(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says a 37-year-old woman from Little Falls died Saturday afternoon in an ATV accident.
The crash occurred on 110th Avenue in Swan River Township at about 5:40. The woman driving the off-road vehicle has been identified as Amber Sassen. It went into a ditch on the right side of the road and rolled, pinning Sassen underneath.
Paramedics and first responders tried to revive Sassen at the scene but were unsuccessful. A press release from the sheriff’s office says she was not wearing a helmet.
The case remains under investigation. Bowlus Fire and First Response Team and Mayo Clinic Ambulance assisted the sheriff’s department.
