Interim President Larry Dietz took to social media to welcome those new to the school. “I want to wish you a great day. Whether you’re a new freshman experiencing your first day on the campus or you’re a faculty staff member who has been here for decades, I wish you a great first day, a great semester and a great academic year.”

The Huskies First Four program orientation, which is designed to help them navigate the start of their Huskies careers, was last week. The university offers about a dozen events to help them make connections and ease their way into university life once they are moved in.
