(KNSI) — For those looking to enjoy the waning days of summer, Rock the Riverside is back in Sauk Rapids on Thursday evening.
Thursday’s show features the opening act, Jake Searl and Friends. Born in California and raised in Minnesota, he hails from Duluth. His love of music was born out of listening to records with his dad. His acoustic show features his friends, vocalist and bass player Matt James and drummer Todd Gremmels.
The headliner is Platinum FM. Based out of Sartell, the five vocalists of the band describe themselves as a high energy tribute to the greatest hits of FM radio.
The music gets going at 5:30 at The Clearing. The shows are free and open to anyone.
After this week, there are four shows left, wrapping with False Autumn and Radio Nation on September 12th as a make up date from July 4th’s rainout.
