(KNSI) – The Paramount Center for the Arts has an exciting lineup of events to tie in with the Downtown Art Crawl on Friday, August 23rd.

From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., visitors can meet the creators behind the August exhibits. Danniella Mortezaee is an Iranian-born artist from Minneapolis who uses an unorthodox process in which she blends multiple canvasses into one painting. You can find her stuff inside the lobby.

Artist group “Reclaiming the Circle” is set up inside the gallery off West St. Germain Street. The nine artists all have a couple of pieces, each highlighting nature. The exhibit is named “Flora-Foliage-Field.”

Hands-on demonstrations are scheduled from Central Minnesota Watercolorists and the Mid Minnesota Association of Woodturners. The Paramount will also have music echoing throughout the building. Laura Dahl will be playing the violin for guests as they walk through.

Staff will have some light snacks and drinks available to buy. The Paramount is one of 22 venues taking part in this year’s Downtown Art Crawl.
