(KNSI) — Stearns County has launched new property tax software that consolidates multiple systems and includes a new public property tax hub on the county website called Stearns County Property Access.
The hub is designed to make it easier for the public to access information and manage property tax payments.
The hub provides access to comprehensive property information, including ownership details, historical values, and tax statements, with online payment options, including free E-Check or credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover with a 2.5% service fee) and scheduled payment options. There is also detailed information on special assessments and access to property tax payment history.
Navigation is also easier for the Stearns County GIS interactive maps and Beacon, which is a subscription-based GIS and data reporting tool that includes assessment and tax features.
