(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is holding another session to help dog owners become an extra set of eyes and ears in the community.
This month’s Dog Walker Watch Meeting is on August 27th from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Whitney Dog Park. The program hopes to enlist people getting their pooches some exercise as spotters for potential suspicious activity in their neighborhoods while they are out.
All dogs who are non-aggressive and well-behaved around people and other dogs are invited. The session will show people how to be safe with their four-legged friend at home, on the street, while traveling and more.
The training is free, but officers need a head count. To register for the event, click here.
