St. Cloud School District Photo Contest Celebrating Student Achievements, First Winner Donates Prize to Robotics Team

(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Area Public School District is holding a photo contest to highlight the positive happenings around its schools.

It’s sponsored by the District 742 Local Education & Activities Foundation. The pictures should highlight good things happening on a day-to-day basis for students in academics, activities, arts, and athletic programs.

Entries are judged every six months, and winners receive a $50 gift card from Scheels or Target and a $500 grant to a District 742 program.

The first winning photo was taken by student, Alex Schaefer. It shows the Tech High School Football team running through the homecoming banner and onto the field before the game. He chose a gift card to Scheels and donated the $500 to the school’s robotics team.
