(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Police Department has released the name of the person who was hit and killed by a train on Friday.
Authorities say 39-year-old Jarrod Sweeney was struck just before 10:00 a.m. near the crossing at the 500 block of East St. Germain Street. Sweeney lived in St. Cloud.
Investigators are still trying to determine why he was walking on the tracks.
