(KNSI) — Severe weather blew through central Minnesota on Saturday night, leaving thousands without power and spawning numerous severe thunderstorm warnings, along with one tornado warning that was issued for the St. Cloud area.
Hail over two inches in diameter, high wind, and heavy rain were reported in several areas. We are also getting reports of trees down and structural damage in the area southeast of Sauk Centre.
According to the power outage map, there are roughly 5,000 people without power.
