(KNSI) – St. Cloud native and Olympic BMX racer Alise Willoughby finished sixth in Paris on Friday.
The four-time Olympian finished the course at 36.171 seconds. The 33-year-old was the most experienced rider competing in BMX at the games. Willoughby was also on the track in London during the 2012 games. She won a silver medal in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and appeared on the world’s biggest stage in Tokyo in 2020.
Willoughby’s family owns Pineview Park BMX track in St. Cloud.
The medal-placing racers were from Australia, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
