(KNSI) – Residents on St. Cloud’s east side will need to be extra weather-aware on Wednesday due to a broken weather warning siren.
The device is near McDonald’s and East St. Germain Street and needs to be replaced, but city officials say that process can take months after ordering. It still needs to be delivered, installed and programmed.
With the risk of high winds, large hail and thunderstorms late on Wednesday afternoon and evening, everyone living near the siren is urged to sign up for instant alerts from the Stearns County Emergency Management Department. You can do that by clicking here.
You can also get your latest weather reports by tuning into AM 1450/FM 103.3 or clicking here.
