(KNSI) – Sauk Centre will be buzzing on Wednesday as the Stearns County Fair officially gets underway.
The Midway and agricultural sections will all be running, but the schedule is lighter than the rest of the week. The Opening Ceremony commences near the flagpole at 11:00 a.m., and the 4-H Building opens to the public at noon. Poultry and other non-livestock check-in starts at 3:00 p.m.
Music will serenade across the fairgrounds from the Heritage Stage, beginning with Donny Brang at 3:00 p.m. The Herald Bandshell entertainment and bingo are slated for an hour later. First up at the bandshell is musical act The Bob Show. Livewire follows at 7:00 p.m.
The rides will spin starting at 5:00 p.m. and will go until 10:00. Other attractions include rabbits at the Indoor Show Arena and the Ranch Rodeo outdoors. The Grandstand roars to life on Thursday.
