(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating two different convenience store robberies that they say were likely committed by the same suspect.

The first happened June 27th at 4:19 a.m. at a convenience store in the 4200 block of Clearwater Road. The second was on July 27th at 11:13 p.m. at a convenience store in the 2500 block of 2nd Street South. In both cases, authorities say, a man wearing a red pullover hoodie with white lettering, a black ski mask and gloves entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. Investigators say they believe the suspect was armed with a handgun during both robberies, but the gun was never fired, and no one was hurt.

Evidence was recovered at the scenes, and investigators are actively following up on leads.

The video footage is grainy, but police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Anyone with information regarding the above incident is urged to contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200, Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-255-1301, or click here.
