(KNSI) — Beginning Monday, July 29th, maintenance staff will be patching the Lake Wobegon Trail.
Crews will be working on the stretch between Albany and Avon. Next week, contractor crews will begin crack filling the trail in that same section.
The Lake Wobegon Trail will remain open, but the parks department is asking users to be aware there may be equipment on the trail and to please be careful.
The Lake Wobegon Trail was once an abandoned railroad corridor. The paved surface trail is now used for biking, walking, and rollerblading in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
