(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation announced $195,000 was handed out to organizations across the region recently during three grant rounds.

The Difference Maker awards stressed mental health in 2024. United Way of Central Minnesota was gifted $15,000 for the Navigator Network program. The Yes Network is receiving $20,000 to help HuddlUp improve student mental health in the classroom. The Village Family Service Center is being directed $15,000 for “Brainspotting Training: Healing the Community.”

The Central Minnesota Arts grant was doled out to small to medium sized arts organizations. The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, St. John’s Boys’ Choir, and Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota were all selected for $3,500 to support programming.

Many local groups were considered for the Thomas Ritsche grant. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota will boost its Mindful Mentoring program with $5,000. Friends of Career Solutions will help further its Pathway to Construction and Manufacturing Careers for Youth program thanks to $5,500.

GREAT Theatre is in line for $6,500 to put on matinee student performances of The Wizard of Oz. The Paramount Center for the Arts has been tabbed for $5,000 for the Your Life in Color 2024 program.

Junior Achievement North has been earmarked $5,000 to support St. Cloud students. St. Cloud Rotary Foundation will get $10,000 for the Preschool 4 Success Access program and Yes Network is featured again, this time with $10,000 for after-school programming.
