(KNSI) – Minnesota based Vehicles for Veterans, which is part of the Car Donation Foundation, has donated over $108,000 to Hope for the Warriors.
Hope for the Warriors is a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring stability, strength and community for post-9/11 veterans, service members and military families. It began in 2006 and has helped over 171,000 people through 10 programs or services focused on providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and community building social support.
“Vehicles for Veterans has had an incredible year in 2024, with our donations reaching new heights,” said Loren Dorshow, Vehicles for Veterans executive director. Thanks to the generous contributions from supporters across the country, we have been able to significantly expand our efforts to support veterans in need. Each vehicle donated directly helps fund critical programs and services that improve the lives of our veterans and their families. We are deeply grateful for the community’s ongoing support and look forward to continuing our mission of giving back to those who have given so much for our country.”
One of the programs supported by Vehicles for Veterans is Hope for the Warriors’ Drive for Hope, which helps veterans regain their independence through driving rehabilitation.
“Vehicles For Veterans is a trusted partner in supporting our programs and military families here at HOPE,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and CEO for Hope for the Warriors. “Getting veterans and their families back on the road again is our goal with the Drive for Hope program and these funds are critical in assisting as many families as possible with this HOPE program and more.”
Since its inception in 2018, Vehicles for Veterans has contributed more than $2.25 million to Hope for the Warriors.
