(KNSI) – The concert calendar at The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park is going to be as hot as the weather over the next two weeks. 

It starts on Friday, July 26th with quirky, funk rock band Primus and special guest hard rockers Coheed and Cambria. The box office opens at 3:30 p.m., parking opens at 4:00, the doors open at 5:00 and the show starts at 6:30. Come hungry as food trucks from Dana’s Kitchen, Mr. Twisty. ODB’s Meat and Greet, Waldo’s Pizza and Buddy’s Burritos will be lined up to fill your tummy.  

Thursday, August 1st, it’s all about girl power as Jewel and Melissa Ethridge make a stop. The box office opens at 4:00 p.m., parking opens at 4:30, the doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 7:00.  

YES Epics and Classics featuring Jon Anderson and the return of Emerson, Lake & Palmer hits the stage Wednesday, August 7th. The box office opens at 4:30 p.m., parking opens at 5:00, and the doors open at 6:00 with show time at 7:30. 

Friday August 9th, The Ledge welcomes rockabilly icons Stray Cats to the stage with special guests The Midnight Cowgirls. The box office opens at 4:00 p.m. with parking open at 4:30. Doors are at 5:30 and the show starts at 7:00.  

Dwight Yoakam and The Mavericks play Saturday, August 10th. The box office opens at 3:30 p.m. and parking opens at 4:00. The doors open at 5:00 and the show starts at 6:30.  

All shows at The Ledge Amphitheater are rain or shine. Events and happenings there won’t be canceled due to rain or heat, but in the event of extreme weather, the Ledge has direct contact with the National Weather Service to help. Any call to hold a performance or postpone it is at the discretion of the artist. Weather delays are also posted on The Ledge’s and KNSI’s websites and social media accounts and on air at AM1450/FM 99.3. 

Umbrellas and tarps cannot be brought in, but raincoats, trash bags, and ponchos are fine. 

The Ledge also has a strict bag policy. Drawstring bags or bags under 11” by 8.5” are allowed, but anyone bringing a bag outside of those dimensions could be turned away, asked to place the bag in a vehicle or throw it away.
