State DNR Says Employee Made “Reprehensible” Social Media Posts This Weekend

(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says it is actively investigating an employee’s social media posts.

The statement was put up on X. It says the post was made on a personal account and concerns the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, which occurred Saturday at a rally in Pennsylvania.

The department uses extremely strong language to condemn the remarks, saying the post was “reprehensible and inconsistent with the views and values of the Minnesota DNR.” It promises a thorough examination and appropriate punishment that stays within what is acceptable under state law.

The DNR did not identify which platform the post was made on or reveal its exact wording.
