(KNSI) – A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist the family of a teenager who died in a motorcycle crash in St. Cloud earlier this week.

The post asks for $5,000 to help with funeral expenses and other unexpected costs related to the heartbreaking incident. Kaden and his sister were both adopted by the Johnson family. He is described as “A bright light in our lives, full of energy, kindness, and an adventurous spirit. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, and his sudden departure has left a void.”

Kaden loved motorcycles and cooking. He aspired to go to culinary school and become a chef. The post says Johnson viewed bikes as a symbol of freedom. He was killed in a collision with another motorcycle on Tuesday afternoon.

As of 3:00 p.m. Friday, the campaign had raised $2,500, exactly half of its intended goal.
