(KNSI) – World War II comes to life this weekend in St. Cloud.

The Stearns History Museum’s annual event is back for two days. Military vehicles will be parked on the plaza at the front of the building like those you would have seen used as Allied forces advanced across Europe and the Pacific in the 1940’s. Staff and volunteers will serve as reenactors, helping visitors immerse themselves in the time period.

Weapons demonstrations are planned and there are several kids’ activities in the works, including an obstacle course and World War II trivia. This year’s theme focuses on journalism and the work of war correspondents to keep people informed on the home front. Hours run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets for At War and At Home: The WWII Experience cost $10 for non-members and $5 for members. A pass is good for one day only. You can buy yours here.
