(KNSI) – Valleyfair says it is once again the primary provider of thrills for customers, rather than Mother Nature.
Flooding on the Minnesota River in late June shut down three rides and closed several vehicle lots. Things are nearly back to normal. The amusement park announced Wednesday that Excalibur and Renegade are open again after a rigorous set of safety inspections. No timeline has been given for Thunder Canyon.
The lots were the first to dry out on July 3rd. The flooding affected all areas in the low-lying sections of the park’s 90-acre property.
Valleyfair is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Soak City’s hours are 11:00-7:00 and 11:00-8:00 on weekends.
