Nineteen-Year-Old Waite Park Man Killed in Tuesday Afternoon Motorcycle Crash

(KNSI) – St. Cloud police say a 19-year-old Waite Park man was killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon.

According to authorities, first responders were called to the crash at the intersection of 29th Avenue and 2nd Street South just after 1:15. They say two motorcycles were heading east on 2nd Street when they made contact, causing Kaden Johnson to lose control and crash into the traffic signal pole on the southeast side of the intersection. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a 27-year-old man from Clara City, suffered minor injuries. He was taken to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The crash is still under investigation.
