(KNSI) – The City of St. Cloud is seeking feedback on its recently approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.

City staff says the plan is important to helping keep area waterways clean and pollution-free. It includes public education and outreach, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, post-construction stormwater management and pollution prevention.

St. Cloud has 142 stormwater treatment ponds, 212 outfalls, 250 water quality treatment structures and 7,800 catch basins to keep the watershed clean.

The document is availible for anyone to view and comment on between now and August 10th. Comments can be made to the stormwater department.
