(KNSI) – Just in time for some summer heat, St. Cloud’s Pop-Up Splash Pad is back this Saturday.

Temperatures are scheduled to climb into the low 90s, perfect conditions for running through the spray of a fire hose. The event is scheduled from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Rotary Park, 1507 Goettens Way.

The event is free, and there is no need to register. Just bring a towel and dress in clothing you are comfortable getting wet in.

There is one major change for 2024. Attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies, which gives them an opportunity at the dunk tank. Show off your arm and send a volunteer into the drink to raise money for a great cause.

Lawn games will also be set up, and police and firefighters will display their equipment. Kids will have a chance to get up close to squad cars and engine trucks.
