(KNSI) – Three arrests have been made in connection with an assault that occurred last week in Litchfield Township.

On June 26th, deputies responded to a roadside ditch where an Olivia man had been stabbed and run over by a vehicle. He had to be airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for serious injuries.

A press release from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Aryianna Pillatzki of Pennock was arrested on July 2nd. The next day, 48-year-old David Pillatzki of Arco and 26-year-old Tre Ertl of Litchfield were picked up. The apprehensions occurred in Willmar and Granite Falls.

Officials say they abducted the victim and took him to a remote location to rob him. Some of the pending charges include aggravated robbery and assault. Ertl is accused of attempted murder.

The investigation is still active. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says it is a collaborative effort with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Kandiyohi, Lincoln, and Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Offices, the Granite Falls, Olivia, Willmar, and Upper Sioux Police Departments, and the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.

Sheriff Brian Cruze says he is appreciative of all the agencies involved.
