(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is releasing more details about what led to a large police presence in Rockville near Grand Lake.

On Monday, a 911 call came in about a possible harassment restraining order violation at a home on County Road 8. The caller also reported hearing the suspect fire a gun multiple times in an unknown direction.

Deputies arrived and set up a perimeter around the suspect’s property. The Stearns-Benton SWAT team was called to help search and clear the home and outbuildings. The suspect was not found. According to a press release, a search warrant led to police finding several firearms.

On Tuesday, the suspect was seen in Marty and stopped. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Stearns County Jail pending formal charges.
