(KNSI) – St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis will hold his 1,000th town hall on Monday.
When the city’s longest-serving mayor was first elected in November 2005, he vowed to hold a meeting every week. This will be the last of his milestones during his tenure since he announced in April that he would not seek a sixth term.
Kleis is celebrating the 1,000th gathering on July 1st at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake George Paddle Boat Dock Area. Like always, the town halls are a chance for residents to ask questions, voice concerns and offer ideas for the city.
In February, Kleis held a 24-hour town hall at city hall.
