(KNSI) – Bright music and a carefree movie are helping the Paramount Center for the Arts celebrate an endless summer in July.

Justin Ploof and The Throwbacks take the stage on Thursday, July 11th, at 1:30 p.m. They’ll run through the classics of The Beach Boys. The group had ten singles hit at least one million sales in their original runs back in the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Surfin’ U.S.A., Good Vibrations, Wouldn’t It Be Nice, and many others remain popular today on streaming sites like Spotify.

The Beach Boys are the epitome of sand, sun, and surf. They are best known for their incredible harmonies, blending their voices into a unique sound that is more than the sum of the individual parts.

Tribute act Super Duos will belt out hits from terrific twosomes across genres. Lennon and McCarthy from The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Hall and Oates, Brooks and Dunn. Country, pop, rock, and soul are all part of the Thursday, July 18th, performance at 1:30 p.m.

The second leg of the Summer Singalong Movie series dims the lights on Monday, July 22nd, at 7:00 p.m. It’s a Disney classic that took the world by storm in 1964. You’ll be able to spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious by the time the final credits begin to roll on “Mary Poppins.”
