(KNSI) — The new St. Cloud Vet Center Outstation will be dedicated in a ceremony on Thursday, June 13th.
The St. Cloud Vet Center Outstation is a satellite location of the Anoka Vet Center. It offers confidential services at no cost in a comfortable, non-medical setting. A full-time counselor is available Monday through Friday. This new facility provides increased access to counseling, support groups, and referral services for Veterans in the St. Cloud area and surrounding communities. Veterans, service members – including National Guard and Reserves – and their families are all eligible for services.
The public is invited to attend the event at 11:00 a.m. at 330 Highway 10 South, Suite 101, in St. Cloud.
The dedication ceremony will feature remarks from U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Chief Readjustment Counseling Officer Michael Fisher, Governor Tim Walz, and others. The event will also commemorate the 45th anniversary of Vet Centers.

Established in 1979, Vet Centers provide various social and psychological services to Veterans, service members, and their families. These services are confidential and free of charge. There are over 300 Vet Centers, 80 Mobile Vet Centers, and numerous satellite locations across the U.S. and its territories.
