Nonprofit Bri’s Lodge Benefitting From Thursday Concert At The Ledge

(KNSI) – A grief support organization is enthusiastically looking forward to Thursday’s stop of the Least Anticipated Album Tour at The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park.

The venue teams with area nonprofits who are able to set up a booth at the entrance to help raise funds. Members will also fill various volunteer roles that help ensure concerts and other performances go off without a hitch. When A Day To Remember takes the stage, Bri’s Lodge will benefit.

Tami Kruzel started the nonprofit after she lost her 18-year-old daughter. It initially supported causes important to BriAnna, such as the Girl Scouts and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota. It has morphed into a support group for those dealing with an unexpected loss.

The goal is to start up a full-service therapy center like Faith’s Lodge in western Wisconsin. It already operates a support group and has teamed with Angel Reins Stable for horse therapy.

Any donations received at the show will help reduce costs for low-income families and individuals. A Day To Remember is a rock band originally formed in Florida in 2003. Some fans describe them as pop-punk. Opening up for the group are The Story So Far and Four Year Strong. It starts at 6:45 p.m.
