(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is playing ruff to take a bite out of crime.
Its new Dog Walker Watch program has scheduled a meeting at Jaycee’s Dog Park, 1111 37th Avenue North, on Tuesday, June 25th. Pets and people are both welcome.
The program hopes to enlist dog walkers as spotters for potential suspicious activity in their neighborhoods while they are out and about getting their pets some exercise. Other topics that will be presented include what situations should result in the police being called and when it is more appropriate to reach out to other St. Cloud city departments.
A link to register is here. Organizers would like your email information to communicate any changes if the weather forces an adjustment to the plans.
The meeting is set for 6:30-8:00 p.m.
