(KNSI) — Thursday, June 6th, marks the start of the 2024 Police Activities League program in Foley.
By providing interaction between kids and officers, it also allows youngsters to see police out of uniform, just being people, living their lives, and creating an opportunity to build better relationships.
Events such as dodgeball, kickball, baseball, and arts and crafts are offered, plus kids get a free PAL t-shirt. The program runs Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lion’s Park in Foley, starting June 6th and ending July 11th with a picnic.
It’s free and open to kids ages five and 15. Kids can join at any time.
Officers from the Foley and Rice police departments and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office will participate.
