(KNSI) — A Little Falls woman has died after she was hit by an SUV in Indiana.
According to police in Kokomo, 38-year-old Dawn Marie Teague was walking along the east side of U.S. Highway 931 in a busy industrial area Wednesday night when she was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses say Teague had been talking on her phone prior to the crash. The SUV driver stopped and is cooperating with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
