Local St. Cloud Road Resurfacing Projects Start Next Week

(KNSI) – Minnesota’s road construction season kicks into third gear starting next week.

Major state and county construction projects are already underway, with local work picking up soon. In St. Cloud, bituminous street resurfacing is expected to begin on Wednesday, May 29th. Dozens of stretches in all corners of the city will get a touchup.

Some busier roads affected include West St. Germain from 33rd Avenue South to 2nd Street South. Crews will also patch the West St. Germain frontage off Highway 15 between Jamary Place and 21st Avenue South.

The Lake George neighborhood and 1st Street North from 24th Avenue to 37th Avenue also made the list for this year. Work will be done in phases until late August. The full list is here.
