(KNSI) – When the mercury rises, the Granite City offers places for families to cool off.
The St. Cloud Parks and Recreation Department is letting the water flow at the Lake George and Westwood Splash Pad. On Wednesdays, the waterworks at Lake George will shut at 5:00 p.m. to make way for the free Summertime by George concerts. Westwood Park’s splash pad will open at 3:00 p.m. when school is in session.
Riverside Park’s splash pad opening has been postponed due to mechanical issues. There is no date for when it will open.
If you would rather take a dip in shallow water, the wading pools at Pantown, Rotary Park, and Seberger Park will be filled and ready by June 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
The splash pads and pools are free to use, with the exception of Seberger’s pool, which costs $2.25 and includes a slide.
