(KNSI) – St. Cloud Area Restaurant Week is declaring a free-for-all on Saturday.
Guilty pleasures is the theme. It’s all of the food and booze that’s best in moderation. Think gooey and dense like 7 West Taphouse’s OMG Burger or Olde Brick House’s Celtic Meatloaf. It’s a smorgasbord of rib-sticking comfort food.
Kick back with a drink or two as well, consumed responsibly of course. Iron Street Distillery will be pouring what it calls ‘spring in a glass,’ Iron Rail Gin with a hint of raspberry jam. Beaver Island Brewing has its Hazy IPA on tap.
It doesn’t get denser than your favorite foods split open and filled with even more caloric goodness. Try the stuffed mushrooms at Anton’s Restaurant in Waite Park or pork chops puffed up with cornbread & andouille sausage at Krewe.
La Perla Market is whipping up quesabirrias, the definition of gooey cheese and hearty meat. New York Gyro has its twist on a hearty pleaser with biryani.
The featured meal is a southern brisket skillet from the Copper Kitchen consisting of shaved brisket, hash browns, and onion tanglers. Finish things with delectable cheesecake in a waffle cone from Christine’s Cheesecakes.
More information about all of Saturday’s entries is here.
