Two Arrested for Attempted Break-In at Communications Tower Near Little Falls

(KNSI) – Two men are under arrest after allegedly trying to break into a communications tower near Little Falls.

Around 3:45 on Wednesday afternoon, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was called by a Fallsnet worker who saw the suspects on security cameras trying to get into the building. According to a press release, officers arrived at the site in Pike Creek Township, where they found a 42-year-old Minneapolis man and 40-year-old Gabriel Smith of Dellwood. Deputies found evidence the men were trying to force their way into the property. In an email sent to KNSI News, the sheriff’s office said they weren’t sure what the suspects were after because they were uncooperative in the investigation.

Both were booked into the Morrison County Jail. Smith had multiple warrants out for his arrest in Ramsey and Washington County. The other man did not have a criminal record. Neither has been charged.
