(KNSI) – Kids 17 and under will again have a way to get around town free of charge while school is out.

Metro Bus is bringing back its U-Go Free Summer Youth Program from June 1st to August 31st. Youths can get access by presenting a school ID or a U-Go Free pass. There is also an option for group transportation coordinated through camp counselors, vacation bible school leaders, or other childcare programs.

Metro Bus CEO Ryan Daniel says, “The only thing that is better than riding the bus to your favorite activities and destinations is doing it for FREE!”

The organization will teach youngsters how to navigate the Metro Bus system. Travel training printouts are available for review at the downtown station office, and video tutorials are online. The option is only available for fixed-route buses.
