(KNSI) – With Judge Sarah E. Hennessy being elevated to the Minnesota Supreme Court, a vacancy has opened up in Stearns County.
The Commission on Judicial Selection is tasked with making recommendations for Governor Tim Walz to fill the hole on the bench. A release says it is looking for experience and fairness in candidates. The application process is open until June 5th at 4:00 p.m.
Potential candidates can interview current justices about the job and the appointment process. For more information, contact the Office of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor at judicial.selection@state.mn.us.
A position is also open in Moorhead in Clay County.
