(KNSI) – St. Cloud Police are asking residents who live between Killian Boulevard Southeast and 9th Avenue for help regarding an alleged assault.
Early Friday morning, officers were called to the 1200 block of Killian Boulevard by two women who said a neighbor had threatened them. Neither was hurt but he is believed to have pulled a gun on them while wearing body armor.
A man turned himself in to officers at 9th Avenue and 13th Street Southeast without incident, saying that he was responsible. He claimed he was carrying only a BB gun at the time, but it was not on him when he approached the officers. The 34-year-old was not wearing body armor either when taken into custody.
The SCPD is asking anyone who might have video of the incident to turn it into law enforcement. It also wants neighbors to check for a handgun, BB gun, or body armor on their properties. The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white man, standing 6’2″ and with brown hair.
