(KNSI) — Mark your calendars for the upcoming Tour of Saints Bike Ride.

Described as a heavenly little ride, it starts at the Athletic Complex at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph and ends at Bad Habit Brewing. The annual event gets rolling on July 21st. Cyclists can choose 18, 35, or 50 mile routes. The three courses are designed to offer the most scenic and pleasant routes.

More than just a cycling adventure, the Tour of Saints is a fundraiser for the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota, supporting bicycle education and advocacy efforts throughout the state.

Check-in starts at 6:30 a.m. and all riders should be on the road by 9:00 a.m. The event is rain or shine, and helmets are mandatory. Along the way, rest stops provide riders with snacks and hydration.

More than 1,000 riders take part each year.
