YMCA Homegrown 5K and Festival Ready To Blossom

(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Area Family YMCA is taking over Wilson Park again for the Homegrown Festival and 5K on Friday, May 10th.

The Homegrown Festival combines a large craft and artisan fair with a free concert. The vendor market sets up shop at 4:30 p.m. Runners will take to the course beginning with the El-Jay Plumbing and Heating Little Sprouts 1K at 6:00, followed soon thereafter by the two mile and 5K races. The Arcanes will thrill with live music from the stage to cap off the event starting at 8:00 p.m.

The Homegrown 5K is the second race in the 2024 Bernick’s Family Fitness Series. It stretches from Wilson Park in northeast St. Cloud up to Lions Park in Sauk Rapids and back again. The Rock Your Sole Trail Run at Quarry Park is scheduled for late September, and the Wishbone 5K is the week of Thanksgiving.
