Local Nonprofit Hosts Community Outreach Events to Assist with Benefit Enrollment

(KNSI) — A local nonprofit is opening its doors to help people in need sign up for benefits next month.

The Promise Neighborhood in St. Cloud is holding a pair of community outreach events on May 6th and 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They will be held in the nonprofit’s building adjacent to 10-10 Park at 1114 9th Avenue Southeast.

Health and human service workers from Benton, Sherburne and Stearns Counties will be there to help people sign up for various benefits and services, such as cash and food programs, child care, evictions, disconnections, housing, healthcare, or social services.

No appointment is necessary.
