(KNSI) – A fundraiser held at Sartell High School beat last year’s total to make a cancer warrior’s dream come true.

The $6,600 raised during FunFest will go to Make-A-Wish! The total surpassed last year’s numbers by $1,200. The money will go to a ten-year-old St. Cloud boy named Beckett. He is being treated for cancer, and his wish is to go fishing in Alaska.

The student council and National Honor Society organized Saturday’s event. FunFest included carnival games, a silent auction, a nine-hole mini golf course, face painting, and a bounce house. Admission to the fun had no charge; however, free-will offerings were accepted. If you would like to donate, scan the QR code below.
