(KNSI) — An exhibition titled “Art That Unites” has arrived at the Thrivent Art Gallery in Minneapolis.

It’s a special collaboration between the Vatican Museums and the Thrivent Art Collection. It brings together never-before-seen modern and contemporary works from the Vatican alongside historical pieces from Thrivent. The exhibition explores the power of religious themes in art. The collection spans centuries, showcasing how artists have reinterpreted biblical stories and theological concepts throughout history.

Visitors can check out eight sections: The Creation of the World, The Old Testament, Madonna and Child, The Life of Jesus (including the Baptism and Passion of Christ), Peace and Angels, The Apocalypse, The City, and Prayer.

The Thrivent Art Gallery is at 600 Portland Avenue South in Minneapolis. The exhibition runs Tuesdays through Thursdays until June 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or by appointment.
